This website has been developed using a range of standards defined by the W3C (The World Wide Web Consortium).  By building this website in this way we have made the effort to make this website available on a greater range of devices and to a greater range of people.  Another benefit of using web standards is that the files that you view on this website will load faster and are easier for 7 Harrington Street Chambers to update.

Wherever possible we have tried to make this site accessible to the largest audience of people.  The web can be used by anyone and everyone and disabled people often have difficulties using certain websites because of the way they are built.  With this in mind we have built this website with the following items:

Font Sizes

All of the font sizes in this site are measured in units of em's. This allows users to change the size of the font to be as large (or as small) as they want.

ALT Tags

We have attempted to make sure that all images on the site have appropriately described images throughout the site. Due to the content managed nature of the site however, some images may have missing ALT tags. Please contact us if you find any such images.

Table-Less Design

Wherever possible, this site has been designed without using tables for the page layout as this makes it easier for Screen Reading Software to read the page content. Tables have only been used for their intended purpose - tabular information.
